Root For The Yankees?

Rays The Stakes has a post and a poll up about who Devil Ray Town should be rooting for in the Red Sox-Yankees series starting tonight. To me the answer is clear — you never root for the Yankees ever.  Certainly it’s a win-win situation for the Devil Rays and I won’t cry if the Yankees win some or all of the games, but there’s only two things we should be rooting for: 1) the Yankees to lose, and B) INJURIES. Preferably injuries to Jon Lester, Pedroia, Rocco, Jason Bay, Curt Schilling, maybe Victor Martinez (well, maybe not Victor — Oh my Good Christ! The Red Sox traded for a non-white guy!) and every Yankee except maybe Eric “Shitske” Hinske. RTS says a Yankees...
