I was really looking forward to Scott Feldman’s spot start tonight.  The guy has a lot of haters, but I am not among them.  I may be one of the only people who owns a Feldman shirsey.  Sure, he’s not an ace, but he’s done some mighty fine pitching for the Rangers over the years (as well as some bad pitching … but oh well).   I am a Feldman fan.  And I probably always will be. He wasn’t fantastic tonight, but he wasn’t as bad as his line looks. Two runs on six hits and one walk in 3.1 innings. It would have been nice to get a few more innings out of Feldman, but he caught some bad breaks at the start of that 4th inning, and he just couldn’t get out of them. Robbie Ross, en route to his fourth win of the season, took over and didn’t let any Yankees touch base for the next 2.2 innings. I could get used to watching him pitch.  For the Rangers, of course.  I don’t ever want to see him pitch against my boys.
