According to Bob Dutton of the Kansas City Star, the Kansas City Royals have released third baseman Pedro Feliz. The 35-year old had an out clause effective on Monday if he didn't make the club.
Feliz agreed to a Minor League deal with the Royals back in February. He was set to earn $800,000 plus $200,000 in incentives if he made the Major League roster.
