Ryan Franklin removed as closer…and…a teaser

Hey guys, First order of business. I just found out my last post broke a record for the most views ever by Redbirds Country. Thank you to all who have been reading. Now, we have more important business to take care of. (And yes, I know I’m not supposed to end a sentence with a preposition…luckily, this is a blog) Number two: We have a double-header tomorrow as tonight’s game against Washington was rained out. It will be interesting to see who the closer is for those two games as Ryan Franklin was officially lifted from the closer position earlier today. LaRussa will not say who he has in mind; I think it will be combination of guys closing it out each game, but that’s just me. Finally, here’s what’s currently up with the blog: I believe in consistency. However, I have been extremely busy since I took over this job, but, that will all come to an end in about two weeks.
