Henderson, Getty Images) Just when San Francisco Giants pitcher, Ryan Vogelsong, was having his best start in seven outings, he was struck by a Craig Stammen’s pitch and broke his throwing hand in the bottom of the fifth inning, Monday night against Washington Nationals.  Vogelsong was cruising through the first five innings, pitching a shutout before the incident occurred.  The Giants did manage to score eight runs tonight giving Vogelsong his first win since April 11. courtesy of CSNBAYAREA.com Ryan Vogelsong’s wife Nicole, has been a spokesperson for her husband as she sent out a tweet stating: Ryan has a dislocated joint in the pinky finger of his pitching hand. It’s broken above & below finger.
