Baseball Musings:
The Marlins designated Renyel Pinto for assignment. Some team will pick him up since he still strikes out about a batter per inning. Maybe there’s a pitching coach who can get his walks under control. He does hold a 2.70 ERA this year and 3.62 for his career. I wonder if there’s something deeper (like personality issues) to the release. Even if he doesn’t play in the majors again, he is certainly the greatest Pinto to ever play in the majors.
