Chris Sale established a franchise record on Wednesday night and his teammates rewarded him accordingly. Sale struck out 12 batters the fourth time he has reached at least that total this season and the White Sox rallied for five late runs to beat the Houston Astros 6-1 at U.S. Cellular Field. The White Sox have won 10 of their last 12 games and 16 of 23. Sale (10-12) pitched eight outstanding innings to win for the fourth time in five starts. He struck out the side in the first and fifth innings and had two each in the second and third.
