Anibal Sanchez had one of those great games that he usually comes up with at least once or twice a month, but in those few great games that he pitches, the Marlins either lose or Sanchez gets a no decision in the win, Saturday was different. Sanchez threw a one-hit complete game shutout on the way to a 3-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
John Buck contributed big time for Florida. He was 1-for-4 but drove in two runs to help Florida to victory.
Donnie Murphy added a sacrifice fly in the same third inning that Buck drove in the two runs.
Marlins and Pirates finish up the series Sunday.
