Found August 18, 2008 on Dom D's Mets Fan Blog:
Johan Santana threw a three-hit shutout at Pittsburgh, while striking out seven batters without issuing a walk. The only other NL pitcher to throw a shutout this season with no more than three hits allowed, no walks and at least seven strikeouts was Tim Hudson against the Reds on May 2 in Atlanta. Santana is only the second NL pitcher in the last four seasons (2005-2008) to do that in a road game. The other pitcher was Philadelphia's Jon Lieber on June 9, 2007 at Kansas City.
