The Indians just completed one of their most impressive series of the season, filled with early comebacks, late comebacks and a complete game shut out. This success has not been without it's rewards as the four game winning streak (and 15-5 record during the past 20 games) has placed the Indians back into first place in the AL Central. One game past the half way point, the Indians are a half game ahead of the Tigers, who have played one less game than the Tribe. The Indians will play a quick series in Kansas City before coming back to Cleveland to play Detroit in what looks to be a big four game series. The Tribe can't look past the Royals however, who are currently in third in the AL Central, just four games behind the Tigers. The Royals will have a little different look than in the past as for the first time since 2010 Jeff Francoeur will not be a starter. In his place, they have brought up Johnny Giavotella, who is off to a pretty good start, knocking in two games in ...

Each month so far has seen a different player stand out as the best player for the month with Santana excelling in April and Masterson in May and June is no different with Kipnis destroying the competition. Indians aim for sweep in Chicago

It's been over 18 years since the Cleveland Indians swept a four-game series from the Chicago White Sox. The Indians may have to get the best of Chris Sale on Sunday to end that drought, but that wasn't a problem in their last matchup with Chicago's ace. Since losing a season-high eight straight, the Indians (43-38) have gone in the opposite direction by winning 13 of...

Potential Indians 2013 All-Stars

It's the beginning of July and time for All-Star talk again. The Indians have been pretty good as a team this year (currently first in the AL Central) and have had stand outs among hitters, starters and relief pitchers. With the current state of voting, as usual, the Indians will not have a voted in starter in this years game (the last was Juan Gonzalez in 2001). This means their...
