The San Francisco Giants swept the Los Angeles Dodgers in a 3 game series, winning by a total of 3 runs, walking off with wins twice.  In game 1, Buster Posey hit a walk off home run in the 9th of Ronald Belisario, just the Giants 4th hit of the game.  In game 2, it was Guillermo Quiroz with the walk off home run in the 10th inning off of Brandon League.  In the third game of the series, the Dodgers were down 4-0 heading into the 8th before scoring 3.  Sergio Romo shut them down in the 9th, picking up his 12th save.  He also earned the W in the series opener.Matt Cain finally won a game and lowered his ERA to 5.22.  Clayton Kershaw allowed a run over 7 innings but got little run support and ended up with a no decision. Two of Hunter Pence's 5 hits went for doubles and he knocked in 4 runs.  Buster Posey was just as productive and added a home run.The Tampa Bay Rays took 2 of 3 from the Rockies in Colorado, but David Price continues to struggle.  In the Rays only lose, Price gave up 9 runs on 11 hits in 6.2 innings of work.  His ERA sits at 6.25 and he is jut 1-3.  Matt Moore didn't pitch well either, allowing 4 runs on 7 hits in just 5 innings.  Alex Cobb was better, allowing just 3 runs over 6.2 innings but he did give up 8 hits and 3 home runs.  The Rays starters allowed 7 home runs.  Fernando Rodney picked up his 4th save.Michael Cuddyer and Nolan Arenado each homered in two games, with Arenado adding 2 doubles picking up 6 RBI.Troy Tulowitzki started just 2 of the 3 games and was 5 for 7 with a double and a homer, picking up 4 RBI.  If you have not been paying attention, James Loney is now hitting .398 and had back to back 3 hit games.  He has raised his average from .313 to .398 in just 10 games with 5 3 hit games.  Didi Gregorius returned this weekend and after missing 7 games, continued his hitting streak.  Since being called up to the Diamondbacks, Gregorius has a hit in each of the 8 games.  His .433 average and 3 home runs makes him a valuable addition to any league.  His return did not help Arizona steal a series from the Padres who won the rubber game 5-1.Huston Street earned his 7th save, even though he allowed a 3 run home run to Gerrardo Parra.  Only 1 run was charged to Street.Patrick Corbin improved to 4-0 and struck out 7 Padres over 7 innings.  Arizona has won all 6 of his starts and he pitched well enough to be 6-0.Edinson Volquez beat the DBacks yesterday and has now won his last 3 starts, after a terrible beginning to the season.  The Miami Marlins split a pair of games in Philly with the Phillies, and they beat up on Roy Halladay who didn't make it out of the 3rd inning.  After 3 solid outing, Doc is back to his bad habits with back to back horrid starts.  I don't know what to do with him at his point.  I would probably try and trade him and hope someone wants name recognition. As we told you in our preferred pitching matchup post for week 5, Kevin Slowey was a nice streaming pitching option.Adeiny Hechavarria might be batting .190, but he did have 7 RBI last night including a grand slam and a triple!Justin Ruggiano only managed two hits but they were both home runs.Marcell Ozuna had 8 hits, 4 doubles and a homer, and knocked in 4 runs.Jonathon Pettibone and Kyle Kendrick both earned Ws and are both worth owning, if not streaming every start. After picking 2 home runs in the first two games of the series, Domonic Brown went hitless on Saturday and Sunday.  Ryan Howard did the same.Jose Fernandez 1 hit the Phillies over 7 innings during a 2-0 Miami win.  They beat Cole Hamels who is now 1-4 with a 4.34 ERA.  Steve Cishek earned his 4th save. The St. Louis Cardinals swept the Milwaukee Brewers in a 4 game set.  Jake Westbrook earned his 2nd win of the season and lowered his ERA to 1.07 after tossing 6 solid innings.  Edward Mujica picked up save #7.  Shelby Miller followed that up with 7 stronger innings picking up his 4th win and lowering his ERA to 1.96.  Adam Wainwright got banged around for 11 hits in 5.1 innings but the Cardinals still won and Mujica picked up save #8.  Jaime Garcia pitched 8 strong innings in the finale improving to 4-1 and lowering his ERA to 2.25.Matt Holliday had 5 hits, 2 home runs, 5 RBI and 6 runs scored.  Allen Craig added 8 hits, a double, triple and homer, driving in 7 and scoring 4 times.  Jon Jay had 2 hits in all 4 games and drove in 6 runs. The Nationals won a much needed series against the Pirates in Pittsburgh.  A.J. Burnett held them to 1 run over 7 innings, punching out 9 Washington hitters in the series opener and Jason Grilli picked up save #12.  Rafael Soriano picked up his 10th save after Stephen Strasburg allowed 2 home runs over 7 innings.  In the finale, Gio Gonzalez earned his 3rd win pitching 6 quality innings.  Tyler Moore hit a 3 run home run in the 8th to put the game out of reach. The New York Mets and Atlanta Braves played just twice as Saturday night's contest was rained out.  The teams split the games.  The Mets got to the Braves bullpen on Friday, which is hard to do, scoring a run in the 8th, 9th and 2 in the 10th.  Craig Kimbrel blew his second save when David Wright hit a solo shot in the 9th.The Braves bounced back on Sunday beating up on Jon Niese who lasted just 4 innings.  Freedie Freeman and Reed Johnson each had 3 RBI.  Freeman hit his second home run and third double.  Wright had 2 more hits, runs and RBI in Sundays game.  He hit his 5th home run off Tim Hudson in the 4th.  Hudson improved to 4-1.
