The San Francisco Giants have avoided arbitration with two players thus far. Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reported (via Twitter) this morning that outfielder Hunter Pence agrees to terms with the Giants for $13.8 million for 2013. Pence will hit the free agent market at the end of the season. MLB Trade Rumors reported last night that the Giants have also avoided arbitration with reliever Jose Mijares. Mijares will make $1.8 million in 2013. Unlike Pence, Mijares will have another year of arbitration in 2014. Which means he’s still under the teams control for another year. There’s still four remaining arbitration eligible players on the Giants. That’s Buster Posey, Sergio Romo, Gregor Blanco and Joaquin Arias. Don’t forget to go to the SF Giants Rumors Facebook page to share your thoughts on Pence and Mijares avoiding arbitration. ~King of Cali (Steven Robles) ———-——–—-——-——––———————-—————————————————- You can follow SF Giants Rum
