Picture courtesy of Marko Realmonte Word on the street since yesterday is that the San Francisco Giants are close to locking in reliever Javier Lopez. Steve Berman of BayAreaSportsGuy.com says a source tells him that the deal is for three years, $13 million. I’m all in for this deal. Three years and only $13 million total to trot out the best lefty specialist in the game (in my humble opinion)! Let’s hope they lock him in ASAP before someone else jumps in and try’s to raise the price tag.   Radio station 95.7 The Game sent out a tweet about their interview with free agent starting pitcher Bronson Arroyo. The station says Arroyo’s very interested in pitching for the Giants at AT&T Park.   For those of you that missed the news a while back, former Giants player Ryan Garko is now an assistant baseball coach at Stanford University, says Andrew Baggaryl of CSNBayArea.com (via Twitter).   Don’t forget to visit our SF Giants Rumors Facebook page to share your thoughts on all the latest...

Yesterday Brian Sabean said the San Francisco Giants were close to bringing back Javier Lopez, and we’re hearing the deal is close to being official: three years for $13 million. Lopez, 36, made $4.25 million in each of his last two seasons, so this isn’t much of a raise in terms of average annual value. However, there are other obvious advantages for Lopez in this deal. Brian Sabean's San Francisco Giants have struck again, signing reliever Javier Lopez to a three-year, $13 million deal as reported by Bay Area Sports Guy. From Alex Pavlovic: The 36-year-old left-hander was the only one of the club’s marquee free agents to opt for free agency and...
