I hope everyone had a nice Christmas, and now it’s time to get back to the San Francisco Giants news/rumors etc. The Giants and ace Tim Lincecum are in contract negotiations. Which makes since, so they don’t have to go through the arbitration process.Jon Heyman of CBS Sports says a gap still exists in the Giants and Lincecum talks. The Giants offered Lincecum 4-years ($80 million) in the past few weeks. Lincecum is believed to be seeking an 8-year deal. Heyman says, people familiar with the contract negotiations says both sides are weighing one and two-year options now.Lincecum is arbitration eligible for the next two years, and hits free agency in 2014.
