We learned a few things this week; the San Francisco Giants placed Tim Lincecum, Hunter Pence and Javier Lopez on waivers, and all three of them were claimed. Don’t panic Giants fans, this doesn’t mean they’ll be going to another team. The Giants will pull them back off waivers and keep them. The team has expressed interest in re-signing all three players.   We also learned that Lincecum isn’t thinking about free agency yet, but familiarity and fan support will “definitely be a factor when the time comes,” said Andrew Baggarly of CSNBayArea.com (via Twitter).   In another Baggarly tweet, he says Pence told him that he’d still pass up free agency to sign a multi-year deal, but the Giants haven’t made an offer yet.   Outfielder Andres Torres had his surgery yesterday.
