An MRI on Monday revealed Soria suffered damage to the ulnar collateral ligament in his elbow. Kansas City general manager Dayton Moore said Soria will have his sore right elbow checked by Dr. Lewis Yokum in Los Angeles on Tuesday before a final decision is made on whether he would undergo Tommy John surgery. The 27-year-old Mexican hurler underwent the procedure in 2003 while playing in the Dodgers' organization.
