The Red Sox brought back Hideki Okajima on Friday signing the reliever to a one year deal, pending a physical. 2010 saw Okajima walk more and strikeout less leading many to believe that his days in Boston were done. However, Okajima seemed to get back on track at the end of the season giving up 2 runs over his last 13 2/3rd innings. Okajima will have an opportunity to serve as the club’s top lefty reliever in the newly revamped Sox bullpen.A spring training battle between Okajima, Rich Hill, Felix Doubront and Andrew Miller should be fun to watch.
