T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports that the Red Sox have claimed Max Ramirez off waivers (via MLBTradeRumors).
With Mike Lowell retiring, can we consider this a trade that just took a full year to pull off?
It's a good move by the Sox, as we've already discussed. There's little risk, and it's our position of most need. Assuming there's no hang-up with the waiver claim, kudos to Theo on another good risk-reward move to acquire an asset.
