There’s plenty of Pirates baseball to be played this afternoon, as the club hits the road to take on the Phillies and Rays.
D.J. Carrasco, who has solidified a spot as a long reliever/emergency starter, will start the game against Philadelphia. Ross Ohlendorf will start against the Rays.
Ryan Church and Vinnie Chulk will return to action today after recovering from minor injuries. Octavio Dotel will also pitch in the Tampa Bay game.
The Pirates are now in last place in the Grapefruit League. Two wins today could help change that.
