LOUIS, Mo The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have agreed to terms with pitchers Mitchell Boggs and Edward Mujica on one-year contracts for the upcoming 2013 season, thus avoiding salary arbitration. The team exchanged salary arbitration figures with third baseman David Freese and pitchers Jason Motte and Marc Rzepczynski.
