The Milwaukee Brewers traded for Shaun Marcum this past offseason, thinking he could help out Yovani Gallardo and put the team closer to its first World Series appearance since 1982. On Sunday night, the righthander's two big challenges will be just that. If he beats Edwin Jackson and the St. Louis Cardinals, he'll push the NLCS to a seventh game on Monday that Gallardo will start. "I think I'm on the bandwagon with everybody in here, probably everybody in the country that wants to see Yo versus (Chris Carpenter) in Game 7," Marcum told reporters at Miller Park on Saturday. "I'm going to try to get the ball to Yo." Of course, as everyone in Milwaukee knows, that's going to be easier said than done and perhaps Marcum would be best served to get the ball to whatever reliever is ready to pitch the sixth inning on Sunday night.
