After every series, we'll take stock of how each individual and group performance affects their overall value.

Lineup

Jacoby Ellsbury: Ellsbury had a tough game 2, but he looked good in the other 3. Ellsbury contributed 5 hits in those 3 games, giving the Sox some chances to make things happen.

Carl Crawford: Only 1 good game for Carl Crawford, then we hear more about surgery and elbow issues. It may be time to opt for surgery sooner than later.

Dustin Pedroia: Pedey played some pretty damn good ball in Cleveland. The hits were mostly singles, but they did produce runs.

Adrian Gonzalez: Another big arrow for Gonzo.  A pair of homers and 8 RBI is becoming the norm for Adrian in a series.

Cody Ross: Like everyone else, he had a "down" game, but he wasn't too impressive in the rest of the series. The reason for the increase in value was the reduction of strikeouts. Cody only struck out 3 times in the entire series. That is always a plus.

Saltalmachhia/Shoppach: The duo combined for 7 strikeouts and only 1 hit, a Shoppach RBI single. I think they could have been a little better.

Mike Aviles: 1 great game, 1 ok game, and 2 bad. I don't think we will see the return of the Mike Aviles we saw at the beginning of the season.

Pedro Ciriaco: Pedro didn't make a big splash in the series, but he performed well at the plate and in the field at 3 different positions.

Will Middlebrooks: A season ending injury, crash in value.

The Bench: Lavarnway, Valencia, Podsednik, and Punto were good not great.

Starting Pitching

Buchholz and Lester were lights out and they deserve a green arrow

Doubront sucked ass and Morales sucked less.

Bullpen

As a group, these guys are still having trouble. There are some good days and more bad days as of late.

Managing

For some reason, the decline in value just seems right.

Overall

The highlight was obviously the blowout in the final game of the series. The performances of Jon Lester and Clay Buchholz in addition to the offensive explosion in the final game balanced out all the negatives in the series.
