Wow, what a pasting the Cubs took today. Doug Davis joins a lengthy list of sub-mediocre pitchers that all of a sudden turn into Cy Freaking Young. Two hits? Seriously? The Cubs can only muster two hits against Davis, a "crafty" lefty that thus far this season had a .311 batting average against from right-handers.
And the lineup is stacked with right-handers today, save for Fontenot.
