Over the weekend, a lightning delay during the Texas Rangers/Minnesota Twins baseball game caused play to be stopped for nearly 46 minutes.
It also provided us with this interesting video of players running off the field after hearing thunder and seeing a lightning strike in the fourth inning:

The signing and the suspension were announced Thursday.
