July 25, 2010- Milwaukee, WI. Miller Park..Washington Nationals Adam Dunn takes a huge hack at the ball, Dunn had 2 hits and a RBI against the Brewers today..Milwaukee Brewers won over the Washington Nationals 8-3, the Brewers swept the Nationals in the 3 game series at Miller Park..Mike McGinnis / CSM. (Image via Yardbarker) As a Washington Nationals fan, I try to look for the positive in the various things the team does. So I guess I’ll start with that. The deal Dunn received from the White Sox (4yr/56million) is money the Nationals can now apply to finding a goddamn pitcher. Also, with the likelihood being that they sign a 1- year stop gap at 1st, they can make a big offer to Albert Pujols, should he be available next winter. Now the negative. We’re not signing ******* Pujols. The Lerners are cheapskates like 90% of the other owners in baseball. Oh sure they gave Strasburg and Harper a ton of money, but the dirty little secret is those guys are bargains once they get to the big leagues. There’s no way ownership is going to hand Albert the blank check it will take to get him here. We had a perfectly fine guy in Adam Dunn, who was a big time slugger, a great clubhouse guy, and still fairly young. And enough about his ******* defense, this is the team that trotted out Adam Kennedy and Nyjer Morgan as regulars last year and those guys ******* suck. Dunn would’ve been fine at 1st base, better than the rotting corpse of Carlos Pena(his probable replacement). How many baseball players actually put asses in seats? 10? If that? Dunn was a guy you went to go see, which is a big deal for an organization who, outside Jesus Awesomepitchers starts, struggled to get fans to come to games last year. No instead we get Pena who had a slashline last season of  .******/.*******/.suckedadick. So congrats to Nationals management on this ****-up. You guys could probably screw up a wet dream. **** You.
