The bats stayed asleep and Buchholz did not provide any answers on the mound as the Red Sox lost their fifth straight game falling 2 games behind the Yankees. Clay Buchholz was inconsistant on the mound tonight giving up 6 hits and all 3 of the Ranger runs in 4 innings to take the loss.The Red Sox only had 6 total hits in the game, Ells, Youk, Drew, Bay, and Kotsay all had 0-fers on the night.
