The 2013 All Star Game was an absolute pleasure to watch, and was definitely not without excitement.  From the American League bats heating up, to the scoreless pitching, to the legendary Mariano Rivera making his last-ever All Star Game appearance, there is definitely something to be said for just about everything. Toronto Blue Jays fans can be proud to know that Toronto made a fair contribution to the success of the American League winning the game, surprisingly the first time in four years that is has done so. Offensively, four-time All Star Jose Bautista opened up the scoring for the AL when he stepped up to the plate, and prompty laid out an RBI sacrifice fly.  He was lifted later so that first time All Star Edwin Encarnacion could have a few at-bats, one grounding into a double play, and the latter would be a solo ground-out.
