The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim had a rough last two seasons that were injury riddled and ended with no playoff berths in either.
After coming in third in the AL West in 2010 with an 80-82 record, 2011 did not prove much better as the Angels only won five more games; landing them 10 behind the division-winning Texas Rangers.

The Los Angeles Angels (of Anaheim) hit it big on the free agent market this past offseason and are truly stocked with fantasy baseball assets. Their roster is now full of proven veterans sluggers, ace pitchers (yes, plural) and talented rookies but how many of them are keepers?
1B Albert Pujols is definitely one of the games greatest players, the offseason’s biggest free agent...

Mike Trout, the Angels’ top prospect and number three on FanGraphs’ Top 100 Prospects list, hasn’t seen any game action in spring training. Since the start of spring camp, Trout’s been suffering from severe flu-like symptoms, lost ten pounds and been too weak to play in games. He says doctors have ruled out Valley Fever and are treating him with anti-viral medication.
Los Angeles Angels starter Ervin Santana left Wednesday's game after a line drive bruised his right, throwing arm.
Santana said he didn't need an X-ray and wasn't worried after he was struck in the front of his shoulder. He was able to field the ball and throw out Alexei Ramirez in the second inning with Los Angeles tied 0-0 with the Chicago White Sox.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- Dan Haren has been nearly perfect this spring.
Haren struck out seven of the last eight batters he faced in three innings, and the Los Angeles Angels went on to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 3-0 on Tuesday.
Haren gave up one hit, a leadoff single to Willie Bloomquist, and walked none. It's the only hit the former Diamondbacks ace has allowed in two...

Author: Andrew SwansonThe Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim is the first club to ride the closer carousel, promoting Jordan Walden to the close position after veteran Fernando Rodney’s shaky performance against the Royals. Walden was drafted in the 12th round of the 2006 amateur draft after attending Grayson County College in Denison Texas. He quickly made a name for himself in...

Owner Artie Moreno and the Angels front office were active this off-season, adding veteran Vernon Wells to play outfield alongside Torii Hunter and second year player Peter Bourjos. With the powerful switch hitting...
