Update: Well, it seems Brian Anderson has gotten his wish. According to the Boston Globe, the White Sox have traded Brian Anderson to the Boston Red Sox for Mark Kotsay. This is a nothing-for-nothing move by both teams. The Red Sox are hoping Anderson finds himself with a new team and the White Sox get some OF depth and a player who can spell Paul Konerko from time to time. But I am going to make a rule right now, and this can go for an athlete in any sport.
