He hit .301 in 1931. Joe was on the 1932 World Championship team, hitting .272. Joe finished MLB career with a .312 lifetime BA and with only 114 career strikeouts, making him the toughest player to strike out, ever be elected to the Hall Of Fame. 1921 - Babe Ruth hits his 1st World Series HR to lead the Yankees to their 1st series game victory over the Giants by the score of 3-0.
