So here I am once again taking a stab at trying to figure out who will and who won’t be enshrined into Cooperstown’s hallowed halls.  My stab is little more than an educated guess (keeping in mind that one man’s education is another man’s weekend in jail). The key to a good educated guess is to try and think (and guess) like the people you are hoping to emulate. In this case I would be trying to think like the BBWAA (Baseball Writers Association of America). So to think like a member of the BBWAA I decided to rely on the key things they rely on when voting – lack of common sense and less accountability than Congress. With that in mind here is my purely un-scientific look at this years HOF hopefuls: Bert Blyleven (14th year on Ballot) Last year Mr. Blyleven came up just .8 short of induction.
