All 32 Major League teams (including Toronto, I guess) will honor those that protect the best country on Earth on Memorial Day this Monday. Uni-watch.com reported that teams will incorporate camouflage lettering on their jerseys to coincide with the camo hats.
You can say all you want about how lousy Bud Selig and his cronies are, but you have to tip your cap to the league-wide gestures they run. My favorites include “Jackie Robinson Day” where all players wear #42 in his honor; Negro League days where teams wear old-style baggy uniforms and this, G.I. Joe Day.
