Detroit Tigers outfielder Brennan Boesch left Wednesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays after aggravating a previous right thumb injury. Tigers manager Jim Leyland told the Detroit Free Press that he will not play in Thursday's game. Boesch missed nearly a week of action earlier this month due to a right thumb strain. The 26-year-old Boesch is batting .283 with 16 homers and 54 RBIs this season.
