Did Timmy go ape **** here after Giants lost NL West?

According to a report by The San Jose Mercury News, Giants starter Tim Lincecum is being sued for causing $200,000 worth of damage in a San Francisco apartment he rented over the summer.

The suit, which was filed in San Francisco Superior Court on Wednesday, says “bedding, doors, carpet, pillows, kitchenware, linens, furniture, household appliances, artwork, decorations, patio furniture, lights, lamps, and mirrors, among other things” were trashed.

Lincecum hasn’t commented on the report (although his lawyers are calling the claim “unwarranted”). Inquiring minds want to know, though, did Timmy go on a rager after the Arizona Diamondbacks clinched the NL West during the final week of the season? Did he invite Brian Wilson and Charlie Sheen over to “watch ‘Major League II’”? Did he leave his dog, Cy, unattended for too long? Did he tear the place apart looking for his misplaced Hall & Oates cassette tape? We can only speculate.

This isn’t the first time a Giants player has been sued by a landlord. Last year, Juan Uribe was sued after he almost burned down his condo during a midnight fish fry.

Lincecum’s apartment (shown in the Google Map image above) is located at 141 Hampshire Street in the Mission District.
