From MLB Network: I thought you might be interested to know that the Braves’ Fredi Gonzalez will be featured in MLB Network’s “Top 10 Right Now: Managers” tonight at 9pm ET. Gonzalez makes the list for the first time since this series began in 2011. Below is some more information on the show… Hosted by Brian Kenny, MLB Network determined its rankings of the top 10 managers using “The Shredder,” which uses statistical analysis to measure performance. Additionally, The Hardball Times and Evaluating Baseball’s Managers author Chris Jaffe and MLB Network analyst and former manager Larry Bowa both give their own personal lists of the top 10 managers in baseball. Following at 10pm ET is the premiere episode of MLB Network’s “Top 100 Right Players Right Now,” where MLB Network will reveal who ranks from 100-81 in its ranking of the best 100 players in the game.
