What I wouldn't give to be a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals. What a damn good organization. They already boost a pitching staff with the second best ERA in the Majors and developed Adam Wainwright, Shelby Miller, Jaime Garcia and now they shove John Gast & Michael Wacha in our face!  If I were an MLB GM looking to improve my pitching staff I would try and trade for pitchers out of the Cards farm system.Anyone from your favorite MLB team on this list?  Do you want them called up and pitching for your ballclub?  Let us know in the comment section! table.tableizer-table { border: 1px solid #CCC; font-family: ; font-size: 12px; } .tableizer-table td { padding: 4px; margin: 3px; border: 1px solid #ccc; } .tableizer-table th { background-color: #104E8B; color: #FFF; font-weight: bold; } Last WeekRankNAMETEAMMLBWLERAGSCGSHOIPHRERHRBBSOWHIPFantasy Points311Josh LindblomRRTEX401.4265031.2175527290.76111.952Freddy GarciaNORBAL402.6755033.231111042210.98106.963Chris ArcherDURTB414.0666031.0331614312351.45105.544Drew PomeranzCOL#N/A402.5455028.12188210341.09105.285John GastMEMSTL300.0055029.2200007290.91102.9286Andrew CarrawayTACSEA313.3166035.1391513310291.39101.7537P.J. For once, Wainwright wasn't the problem for Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE The Milwaukee Brewers had finally solved the Adam Wainwright puzzle. But yet again, they just couldn't find a way to put the St. Louis Cardinals away. A pitcher that has long tormented the Brewers, Wainwright was finally vulnerable against Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon, as the Brewers scored three times against him in the sixth inning to take the lead and chase...

Brewers try to avoid third straight loss at Miller Park

Although they've been one of the top hitting teams in the majors at home, the Milwaukee Brewers are being tested by the St. Louis Cardinals' red-hot starting pitchers. It doesn't figure to get any easier against a 22-year-old rookie who dominated them earlier this season. Shelby Miller will try to provide the NL Central -leading Cardinals with yet another outstanding...

Starting rotation is carrying the Cardinals

Let's face it, where would the Cardinals be without their starting rotation? Through today, the Cardinals starters have posted a 2.11 ERA, nearly a run lower than the next closest team, the Cincinnati Reds (3.07 ERA).  This was more than enough to offset the worst bullpen in the league and give the Cards the top team ERA in the majors.  This is a surprising turnaround from...

Wainwright takes the mound this afternoon in Milwaukee

(AP) -- While Adam Wainwright has had plenty of success against the Milwaukee Brewers, Yovani Gallardo hasn't been able to figure out why the St. Louis Cardinals give him so much trouble. St. Louis seeks a fifth straight win Saturday while sending host Milwaukee to a fourth consecutive defeat. Wainwright (4-2, 2.03 ERA) has gotten off to a solid start, striking out 43 while...

2013 Fantasy Baseball Daily Fix: May 3

DraftKings.com Team of the Day Pitchers: Shelby Miller vs. Milwaukee, Wade Miley vs. San Diego – Both pitchers cost $8,700 and were reasonable values. The Brewers are a pretty good-hitting team, but Miller’s been on fire and won’t hamstring your budget. Anytime you can go against the Padres in San Diego you have to go with that pitcher. Catcher: Matt Wieters – Wieters is...

Cardinals 6, Brewers 1

Matt Holliday and Carlos Beltran homered and Shelby Miller pitched six strong innings to help the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Milwaukee Brewers 6-1 Friday night. Miller (4-2) gave up seven hits and a walk in six innings while striking out five. He was scoreless through the first five innings before allowing a sacrifice fly by Jonathan Lucroy. Carlos Martinez, Seth Maness and Fernando...

Grading the St. Louis Cardinals April

The Cardinals fought their way to first place in April, although they had some staunch opposition in the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cincinnati Reds. If we include the May 1st game, the Cardinals handled the Reds much better, going 4-2 against them. Which is great since they are seen as the favorites in the division. Versus the Pirates, however, the Cards went 2-3. The only team they...
