Detroit Tigers outfielder Torii Hunter can sleep a little easier tonight, after a grand jury has declined to indict his son on charges of sexual-assault. According to authorities, 18-year-old Darius McClinton-Hunter along with three other young men, were involved in an incident were they forced several girls to engage in sexual relations. All four men were arrested for sexual-assault in May outside of Dallas, TX in Prosper. “He finally feels vindicated,” Shapiro, McClinton-Hunter’s attorney said in an interview. “He knew from the very day he was arrested that he didn’t commit any crime.” Although McClinton- Hunter was vindicated, one of the co-defendants Garrick White was unfortunate today. The grand jury decided to indict him for unlawful restraint of a child. Coleman Sylvan, White’s attorney, questions the decision to indict his client when he feels all four men displayed the same actions. “He doesn’t understand why he’s been singled out in this way,” Sylvan said of his client. “His actions were the exact same as everyone involved, but for some reason, he’s being singled out, and we don’t know why.” McClintion-Hunter is thrilled to be able to walk away from the allegations casted upon him. However his attorney Todd Shapiro, points out the allegation have hinder his clients chances to play at elite colleges,  but he’s happy to finally have the matter put behind him. “That’s all dried up, and it’s a real shame that happened,” he said. “False accusations caused him to miss out on a lot of opportunities. This has weighed very heavily on him,”
