The Toronto Blue Jays have decided to option right-handed reliever Thad Weber to their Triple-A Buffalo club and will provide organizational depth for their pitching stock. Weber, who has been used mostly as a starter in the minors, has made seven major league appearances, all as a reliever, and has been mediocre at best, accumulating a 3.60 earned run average while striking out eight in fifteen innings of work.
