MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins announced Friday that they have added outfielder Oswaldo Arcia, right-handed pitcher Carlos Gutierrez and left-handed pitcher Tyler Robertson to their major league roster. Arcia batted .263 with 14 doubles, two triples, eight home runs and 32 RBI in 59 games at Single-A Fort Myers and .352 with eight doubles, one triple, five home runs and 18 RBI in 20 games at Single-A Beloit last season. He also appeared in two games for the GCL Twins. Arcia was signed by the Twins as a non-drafted free agent on July 4, 2007. Gutierrez appeared in 43 games at Triple-A Rochester, going 2-3 with a 4.62 ERA in 62-13 innings pitched. He was the Twins' first round pick (27th overall) in the 2008 draft. Robertson appeared in 55 games at Double-A New Britain, going 10-3, with a 3.61 ERA and 16 saves in 89-23 innings. He was the Twins' third-round pick in the 2006 draft. In another roster move, the Twins have outrighted right-handed pitcher David Bromberg off the 40-man roster to Triple-A Rochester. In addition, the team has agreed to terms with the following players on minor league contracts: right-handed pitchers Jason Bulger, Sam Deduno, Luis Perdomo and and Brendan Wise and outfielders Matt Carson and Wilkin Ramirez.
