Minnesota Twins catcher Ryan Doumit avoided the disabled list Thursday, though pitcher Nick Blackburn's would up on the shelf with a strained left quadriceps muscle. Blackburn pitched through the injury in Wednesday's start against the Detroit Tigers, and surrendered six earned runs in two innings. He has compiled an 8.37 ERA in seven starts this season. Doumit, meanwhile, is listed as day-to-day with a left calf strain. Outfielder Ben Revere was recalled from Triple-A Rochester to fill Blackburn's spot on the roster. Revere batted .267 in 450 at-bats last season, but played in just six games in 2012.
