Mineesota Twins right-handed reliever Casey Fien says he's fine after getting hit by a comebacker in this afternoon's 4-3 win against the Detroit Tigers (video here), reports Mike Bernadino of  In the bottom of the 8th, pinch hitter Victor Martinez hit a line shot that bounced off Fien's right arm. Fien picked it up and threw Martinez out at first base. Casey Fien after getting hit on right biceps: "I don’t even need to flex right now and I’m swole. I'll take a bruise for an out any day."— Mike Berardino (@MikeBerardino) May 11, 2014Fien walked off the field accompanied by a trainer and was replaced by Glen Perkins who closed out the game. Fien is listed as day-to-day.In 2014, Fien is 3-1 with an ERA of 2.45 in 14.2 innings, striking out 10 while walking two.#487640165 / gettyimages.comThe Detroit Tigers drafted Fien, 30,  in 2006 (20th round) and he made his debut on July 26, 2009. After twice being claimed off waivers in 2010 (Red Sox and Blue Jays), Fien cycled back and forth between Detroit and Triple-A Toledo under a minor league contract for the 2011 season. As a free agent, signed with the Houston Astros for 2012 (minors) and was released in August 2012. He signed for 2013 with the Twins and made an Opening Day roster for the first time in his career. Fien thrived with the Twins, making 73 appearances and holding  right-handed hitters to a .213 batting average.
