Despite a disappointing season, the Chicago White Sox have played well of late.
They'll try to record their first winning road series in more than a month with a third straight victory over the Minnesota Twins on Sunday.
Chicago (48-74) sits last in the AL Central with the third-worst record in baseball, but it's won eight of 13 following a season-high 10-game slide. Dayan Viciedo hit a three-run homer and Alejandro De Aza added a two-run shot as the White Sox overcame an early two-run deficit to win 8-5 at Minnesota on Saturday.
The White Sox have batted .288 and averaged 4.7 runs in the last 13 games after they hit .213 and scored 1.8 per contest during the previous 10.
For the fifth time in six games, Chicago recorded at least 10 hits to help All-Star ace Chris Sale win his third straight start Saturday.
"Even when it wasn't going great, I still had that confidence in them to come back and score those runs," Sale said.
