credit to www.actionnewsjax.com The Elizabethon Twins minor league baseball team, who affiliation is with the Minnesota Twins, has been involved in a fatal bus crash early Tuesday morning outside Jacksonville, Florida according to kare11 news. Everyone on the team bus that consist of  30 players and one coach were reported safe when their bus was struck by a car head on traveling the wrong direction. The driver, of the black Honda Civic, had died at the scene when he crashed into the bus around 4:30am traveling northbound I-295. According to the report it’s unknown whether or not the driver at the time was under the influence of alcohol. The team was transferred to another bus around 7:45am and back on the road heading home to Elizabethon. Twins President Dave St. Peter had sent out a tweet about the incident that happened Tuesday morning. Tragic accident involving @EtownTwins bus. Thankful all members of @Twins family are safe.
