Two people died in a terrible incident at the home of former MLB player Carl Crawford on Saturday.
TMZ Sports reports that Crawford had a small gathering at his home in north Houston, Texas of about six people. A young boy was among the guests and fell into a swimming pool while Crawford was inside. The boy’s mother went into the pool to try to help the boy, but the two drowned.
Crawford and then paramedics were unsuccessful with life-saving procedures. Both people were unresponsive when taken by ambulance.
KHOU had some video from outside the home after police arrived on the scene.
Crawford, 38, is from Houston. He played in MLB from 2002-2016 and was a four-time All-Star when he was with Tampa Bay.
