Tying up some loose trade deadline ends

Jake Peavy to the White Sox out of the blue. Aaron Poreda and three guys who don't do just a ton for me (though Dexter Carter is gaining fans this season) are going to SD. Peavy has been unwilling to allow a trade to Arlington, so it's not even worth comparing the price with Rangers prospects. J.P. Ricciardi did get one pretty big deal done, Scott Rolen to Cincinnati, but he didn't get his target, Yonder Alonso, out of it. Rough week for Ricciardi in my opinion, and you have to really wonder if he's going to hang on to his job for much longer at this point. Rolen still has to approve this deal too.
