Found April 11, 2012 on Holdout Sports:
A strange moment occured during Monday's game in Philadelphia with the Phillies hosting the Miami Marlins when the home plate umpire had to call time out just as Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon was about to throw a pitch. The reason: a sudden gust of wind kicked up some dust behind the plate.

It happened in the top of the ninth inning with Marlins catcher John Buck at the plate. Papelbon had started his delivery when home plate umpire Chris Guccione called time on account of the dust that was swirling in front of home plate. Papelbon turned his pitch into an underhand lob that went straight up in the air.

Papelbon was able to strike out Buck, but the Phillies could not rally in the bottom of the ninth and lost to the Marlins 6-2.

He gave up a home run in a non-save situation yesterday (in a game Philadelphia went on to win), and the fans decided they had had enough. Talk...

New Phillies closer, hours before picking up his first career save in Citizens Bank Park as a member of the Phillies (and fifth career save in CBP), Jonathan Papelbon was a guest on MLB Network's Intentional Talk, with Chris Rose and Kevin Millar. As expected, it was Papelbon being Papelbon during the interview segment, so it was an enjoyable segment. Papelbon talked about his...
