Bush League Chronicle:
This Seattle Mariners fan may very well garner "dancing dad of the year" honors for his performance during last Friday's game against the Chicago White Sox.Watch as the enthusiastic father breaks it down alongside his adorable daughters in a variety of moves that most people can only dream of producing. His gyrations include arm flailing, hip shaking, and everything in between. He even pulls out "The Robot" at one point, but my favorite is when he lies down on the concrete to perform some sort of leg exercise. What exactly was that? I don't know. Who cares. It was entertaining. What a spectacle. His performance helped guide the Mariners to an 8-7 win, and apparently, a fun night at the park for his kiddos. Good job, dad.Via MLB.com

Seattle Mariners Opening Day - New Video Board
In honor of the Seattle Mariners home opener tonight Greg John's posted a video on the teams official website yesterday showing a time-lapse video update of Safeco Field's video board.
"Without a doubt, I'm excited about the new video screen," said outfielder Michael Saunders. "Safeco is so beautiful...
In all of Major League Baseball, only two teams played seven games in the first seven days of the season: the Oakland A’s and the Seattle Mariners. And, unlike the A’s, the Mariners played all seven on the road. So, after this quirk, where did the Mariners stand after a trip to Chicago? The Mariners won Friday in extra innings, and then followed that with some heartbreak...
The minor league season is only a few games-young, but even so it's impossible to ignore what Mike Zunino is doing down at Triple A Tacoma.
Size matters... The new video display at Safeco Field is currently the largest in the league, but will it be a distraction over the game?
There were big doings for the Seattle Mariners this off-season, but it wasn’t so much in free agency and trades as it was for Safeco Field. As Opening Day commences, the biggest change you see (other than the oddness of seeing the Houston...
In a game that took three hours and 36 minutes we saw rookie M's pitcher Brandon Maurer get knocked around early tonight and the Mariners could never recover.
The Astros' 22 hits tied for the sixth most in club history.
A small comeback was underway in the bottom of the 9th. The M's sent 8 batters up and put up four runs but it was just to much to come back from...
The Seattle Mariners are finally going to see the the new look of Safeco Field.
Whether the changes make a difference for their offense remains to be seen.
After a seven-game road trip to open the season, the Mariners will return home on Monday night to host new AL West foe Houston. It's the start of a 10-game homestand for the Mariners where they will get plenty of opportunity...
Tuesday Astros vs. Mariners Game 2 Preview
Brandon Maurer is on the hill tonight vs. EX Mariners pitcher Erik Bedard. Last game out Maurer allowed six runs and eight hits in six innings in his major-league debutI'm going out on a limb. If the Houston Astros don't start hitting, they could threaten the 1962 New York Mets as worst team in modern MLB history.
Considering the hype and attention that comes with a home opener, Seattle manager Eric Wedge wanted a veteran to take the mound for the Mariners.
Joe Saunders' career mark at Safeco Field certainly made him feel better, too.
Kendrys Morales drove in two runs in his Seattle home debut, Saunders rebounded from a rough first start to throw 6 1-3 shutout innings, and the Mariners...
The first in-season weekly look at the statistical performance of six Seattle Mariners' prospects from the last week of minor league action: Three Up and Three Down.
The baseball season is settling into its second week. It’s early, but not too early to recognize that Major League Baseball has a problem. Competitive balance in Major League Baseball has become a joke, to the detriment to everyone who loves the game. The Houston Astros are proof of that theorem, and the Seattle Mariners can also be used to illustrate Commissioner Bud Selig’s...
Home Opener Astros vs. Mariners Game 1 Preview
I'm going out on a limb. Philip Humber WILL NOT throw a perfect game tonight. Astros RH Philip Humber (0-1, 1.59 ERA) vs. Mariners LH Joe Saunders (0-1, 9.00)
The Beast Mike Morse is tied with the Atlanta Braves Justin Upton for the league lead with five homers.
