PLAYERS: Jon Rauch
TEAMS: Toronto Blue Jays

The best first and probably least significant move of the night was the signing of former Toronto Blue Jay, Jon Rauch. Listed at 6'10", Rauch is an imposing figure who has pitched to a 3.82 ERA over nine seasons in the big leagues.Known as much for his tattoos as his pitching prowless, Rauch had a down year in 2011 after being fairly consistent over a previous period of several years. Signed to a one year, $3.5 million dollar contract, he will likely serve as the teams 8th inning man this upcoming season.Below you'll find a grainy video of Rauch being ejected in a July 2nd game against the Phillies following a close call at the plate. The video should serve as an illustration of just how fiery Rauch can be while undoubtedly showing just how big he really is.

Francisco, Rauch Officially Departs From Blue Jays

I guess the Mets really liked the performance the Blue Jays bullpen put on last year, eh? That might explain why they’ve gone ahead and started a bullpen overhaul by signing both Frank Francisco and Jon Rauch. Francisco received a 2-year, $12 million dollar deal, while Jon Rauch signed for $3.5 million. Jokes aside, I think the deal for Francisco is actually about right. Despite...

PAGAN? HE GONE AND THE REBUILT BULLPEN

Well, if nothing else, Rauch and Francisco won’t tolerate much ********! Well, the Mets won’t be coming home from Dallas empty handed.
