The Miami Marlins haven't had much to cheer about in 2012. They are destined to finish in last place in the NL East after many pundits projected them to win the division in the preseason.
Marlins bench coach Alex Cora realizes this, and that's probably the reason he blew off Carlos Lee's attempt at a fist bump during Tuesday's game against the New York Mets. Despite getting initially rejected, Lee ends up forcing Cora into giving him one anyway.
Hey, there is good news for fans of the Fish though. Miami managed to squeak out a 4-3 win over the visiting Mets in 11 innings. And if that doesn't deserve a fist bump, what does?
