Chicago White Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski took part in a Price is Right skit during the WWE’s Monday Night Raw broadcast, which was guest hosted by TV legend Bob Barker.
As you could clearly hear in the video, Pierzynski had more heat with the Chicago crowd than any of the WWE’s top drawing rulebreakers. Seriously, the Iron Sheik could have walked out there in 1984 and not incited that much emotion. And it definitely was NOT a pro-Cubs crowd either.
Pierzynski was seen throughout the show seated in the front row with White Sox teammates Jermaine Dye, Chris Getz and Gordon Beckham.
Calls to Ozzie Guillen for comment on Pierzynski’s appearance were met with a reaction similar to this one in 2007.
